Hi friends!!! How are you? Happy hump day! The weekend is finally in sight! Do you have any big plans for the weekend? We are planning to do the Mutt March! It’s a 5k that helps pets find their forever homes. This will be our first year participating in this race and we are very excited! They encourage you to bring your pet, so YES, of course sweet baby Mila will be tagging along 🙂 I told my husband the other day that we will need to bring her wearable carrier because there is no way she will make it through a 5k. She loves to walk and can walk for a while but eventually she will stop, put her little arms up (that’s her signal to pick her up) and then she will ride in the carrier the remainder of the time!!! Hahaha, she is adorable! So after the Mutt March is over, we will head over to Woofstock 2017 where they will have pet related vendors, food trucks, puppy run/play area, live music, silent auction, pet contest, and of course, adoptable pets! I am so excited for this and I know Mila will have a blast!
On to more important news…
This post is all about giving you a quick and easy workout that you can do anywhere. Absolutely no excuses for this one! This workout is great and I love it. Also, it’s a workout you can do at home. Who doesn’t love that? You don’t feel like getting dressed? Fine! Do it in your jammies 🙂 NO EXCUSES!!!
It is time to start valuing your health and making it a priority. Staying fit and being active is one of the most important things you can do for your body. Our family really enjoys being active! We have fun with it! Last night we went on a 12 mile bike ride (only the 2nd one of the season). I was seriously so proud of us. It’s all about setting a goal and achieving that goal no matter what. Trust me there, were times when we could have quit early but we didn’t; we finished our goal and we were ever so glad that we did. It gives you a great sense of gratitude for your body. You are strong and you can do anything. Sometimes our mind gets in the way of that. So set a fitness goal (no matter what level you’re at) and achieve that goal! We had so much fun biking together; the trail was gorgeous and the wonderful smell of nature gets me every time! So find an exercise you enjoy and commit to it. Your body will thank you!!!
Some exercises we really enjoy are: biking, hiking, walking our dog, HIIT workouts (high intensity interval training), and swimming. We enjoy going to the gym but if the sun is shining you will find us outside 🙂
This workout I have for you will increase your heart rate, which is a great way to burn fat. It will also improve your muscle mass: another great way to burn fat!!! Give it your all and push through those hard times. I believe in you and you are totally capable of smashing this workout.
