Yesterday I noticed we had some bananas that were getting a little brown. I love when that happens because it gives me the excuse to use my creativity and whip up something amazing. So the gears start turning….hmmmm what should I do with these? 🙂 I knew we needed something new, something exciting, and something different. Also bananas are the perfect way to add a natural sweetener to your recipes, much healthier than using sugar. My husband loves Reese’s peanut butter cups…oh the though just popped in my head…what is better than Reese’s peanut butter cup popsicle’s? The answer to that question is NOTHING, it just doesn’t get much better than these. They are so creamy, so rich, so delicious; you will definitely want seconds. 🙂 You guys probably know by now that my husband LOVES sweets, like so much that I bake every Sunday for him and have been for the last 5 years of my life. LOL 🙂 So when he arrived home from work he was more than excited for these!!!!
Also these are super easy to make and would be a great thing to make with your kids! Kids always love to make stuff!!! Especially things they can eat! And these popsicle’s are super healthy so no need to feel guilty about eating them. Perfect for the hot days in summer 🙂
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1 package of chocolate pudding mix
1 very ripe bananas
2 tablespoons of honey
1 cup of milk
Mash your bananas in a bowl. Add in peanut butter, you can heat it in the microwave for about a minute just to make it easier to stir but that is completely optional. Add in your chocolate pudding mix (just the powder kind), then add the honey, and milk. Using a beater mix it all together. Pour into popsicle molds and let freeze for 4-6 hours.
